It's been a year since I've graduated and I'm still unemployed but working on freelance projects. Still, the past year I was the year of a few very lucky occurrences. Firstly, one talented artist named Philippe Daniel has found me and asked me about a collaboration and nowadays we're working on short comic strips. So far, four has been already published as part of larger comics anthology. Nowadays, Phil was given the script to Yonkumas 5 and 6 and two more Yonkuma scripts will be send his way soon. The plan is to finish at least four more Yonkumas and to publish them in the next year's volume of the Fan anthology. There are still some scripts and ideas I have saved for when Phil finishes the current batch, however I must be careful and not overwork him since he too works on the bear strips for free. Me as a comic script writer and you as the audience are very lucky Philippe likes to draw bears watching tv or else it would be no Yonkuma for anyone.
I'm not being intentionally secretive about it but still not many people know about me using the 4thewords writing tool. It runs on principle of gamification in order to boost the morale and motivation of anyone, who wants to develop the habit of writing daily (or, which is more realistic, as often as possible). In May there was organized a contest about who will create the best (or rather most popular) new monster for the game. I've designed one and I have won so now the formerly mine (I gave up the ownership rights) monster is going to become a part of the game in the future.
Highest time to have business cards made. My parents have suggested it some time ago but I needed time to come up with the right design. Because the design of my business cards shall tell everyone that they belong to a charmingly eccentric and creative person. You know because they are part of my selfpresentation, the broader marketing plan. Well, I have finally came up with one nice idea and now I have to transform it into reality. I'm not going to spoil you, how the cards came out will be revealed at the right time.
