Time to introduce Count de Worde

Tři páry plaváků s hřívami spletenými do copů doklapaly na náměstí. Ze zdobného kočáru, který táhly za sebou, vystupuje postava, která svým charisma dohání, co jí chybí na výšce, a hluboce se uklání:

Three pairs of horses with their braided manes click-clacked onto a plaza. Out of a very ornate carriage is coming a figure, their charm making up for their lack of height, and is bowing really low:

"Count de Worde is boldly offering their services to the Their Majesty Literature."

I hereby consider this blog of the Count de Worde title to be officially and ceremoniously inaugurated. Please do excuse the shameful fact that the finger food and champagne are purely digital.

Proč Count de Worde? Protože v angličtině mají slovo wordcount, což je po našem počet slov. Také si tuto přezdívku můžete vykládat jako odvozenou z věty 'Count the words' tedy spočítej si slova v textu. Ač kladu při psaní důraz na kvalitu, propozice literárních soutěží a školních písemných prací se musí dodržovat, proto si vždy pečlivě kontrolujte počet slov.

Why Count de Worde? Because the english language contains the word wordcount. You can interpret this nickname as coming from the phrase 'Count the words', too. Though I personally prefer quality over quantity, the rules of the short story contests and the professors grading your papers should be taken into account so I advise you to count your words when it counts.
